Though originally of a diffeo-geometric origin, K-stability provides a powerful criterion for the construction of compact moduli stacks parametrizing K-polystable Fano varieties. In this talk we investigate the K-stability and K-moduli of Casagrande-Druel varieties, which are Fano conic bundles arising from ongoing efforts to classify deformation families of smooth Fano fourfolds. In particular, for certain families of such Casagrande-Druel varieties, we construct an explicit birational map from their K-moduli to the K-moduli of log pairs related to their conic bundle structure.
