Given two infinite sequences of totally geodesic submanifolds of complementary dimension in a closed hyperbolic manifold, how are their transverse intersection points distributed? In this talk, I will discuss some joint work with Tina Torkaman and show that these intersection points are generally equidistributed with respect to the hyperbolic volume measure, with polynomial error rates.
